Commissioned and appointed, the office of Disciple under the mantle of Christ served many purposes, but none such was greater than sharing the Word of God. It was their evangelism that permitted the regions around which Jesus traveled, which informed both critic and convicted believer of the truth of The Holy Gospel. This parable appeals to the farmer, the one who is sowing seed, and the result of where the seed falls. The Word of God is our seed. It is the Spirit's tool used to convert, to educate, to heal, and to share the hope of glory and the Good News. Without this document, we would spiritually die. And when the seed of God is spread into areas where no root can take hold and no sun can reach and where water is scarce, the sapling, the seedling, perishes. It is so in the hearts of men that hear the Word of The Lord. They either receive it on stony or thorny ground. They receive it, but the world's cares begins to stifle what is heard. Finally, the good and fertile ground is the one who listens to the preaching of The Gospel and has softened his self toward what is delivered, wherein the clarity of God's voice moves that person to plant. When planted, now the growth begins. Now the seed of Christ has to germinate and replicate itself, causing us to be conformed to Him. To His Image.
