AWD Medical Silicone Sacrum Foam Dressing with Adhesive Border is specifically shaped to fit the sacral area, providing secure coverage and reliable protection in a high-movement, high-friction region. Its advanced multi-layer construction includes a gentle silicone contact layer, a super absorbent core, a cushioning polyurethane foam layer, and a vapor-permeable, waterproof polyurethane film backing. Together, these layers support effective fluid management by absorbing and retaining moderate to heavy exudate while maintaining a balanced moist wound environment. The soft silicone adhesive layer is designed to help minimize trauma to the wound bed and surrounding skin during dressing changes. It can be gently lifted and repositioned without losing adherence, allowing for proper placement while maintaining a secure fit. The flexible, conformable design adapts comfortably to the peri-wound area, helping the dressing stay in place even with regular movement. This sacrum foam dressing is intended for the management of sacral pressure injuries, chronic and acute exudative wounds, as well as shallow lacerations and abrasions in the sacral region. The absorbent core effectively locks in drainage to help reduce the risk of maceration while supporting the body’s natural healing process.
