Suitable for use in a variety of testing areas such as cell biology, microbiology and air-monitoring. Highly efficient for general laboratory filtration of samples such as buffer and reagent solutions, foodstuff, algae, bacteria cultures, and proteins. Used also in gravimetric determination of air particles, solvent filtration, and scintillation counting. These binder-free, high-purity borosilicate micro-glass fiber filters offer high efficiency, submicron particle retention combined with high permeability, and high dust holding capacity. Biologically inert and resistant to most solvents and reagents (with the exception of hydrofluoric acid and highly alkali solutions). Temperature resistant to about 500°C.
